Believe in yourself

If you want to succeed in life, believing in yourself is key. I am still in awe that I was able to build this website on my own, and at the same time I am proud of myself.

I spent thousands of dollars in the past thinking I wasn’t capable of doing something or it was just not my thing, or I was just afraid, and every time someone else will do it for me, I would be dissatisfied. This time I built my website as I wanted, with the content I wanted, with the pictures I wanted.

And even though I have achieved great and amazing things in life… geez I became a Triathlete!! looking back, I see myself with compassion for the things I couldn’t see possible for me to do. A very good friend of mine, Amelia, would constantly tell me, if now you’re doing great things in your business, imagine all you can do if you truly believe in yourself. At the time she would tell me this, I was afraid to a lot of things, to fail, to the opinions of others, of my own light, but she was right. It has taken me a while, with a lot of ups and downs, a lot of learning, to develop the confidence I have now, it was not easy, but I always knew it was possible, and it’s so worth it.

Everything we manifest in our lives is a result of the level of belief we have in ourselves, as we expand and become more confident and our self esteem elevates, everything changes.

A great exercise to start believing in yourself that I recommend is to get a piece of paper and create a list of all the positive things about you and have done in your life, doesn’t matter how big or small, then write another list of the things you would like to do in your life. Visualize that and take action, don’t wait until the moment is perfect, know that you are capable to do it if you believe, there are many resources that can help you with things you don’t know yet. Just do it.

As Jack Canfield says, learning to believe in yourself will open up endless possibilities in your life.
